I went for a long weekend in Savannah, GA. The town is full of history and has tons of neat things, so of course the camera had to come out. Our first attempt in downtown savannah, we got hit by the pouring rain… but the next day it was beautiful and I got some nice pictures. The buildings are old and you can tell just by the outside that they’ve had so many uses.
Savannah has 24 squares throughout the city. Each square is dedicated to someone different and has a variety of things going on in it. Unfortunately, the square we were hoping to see was the one where Forrest Gump sat during most of the movie. His bench is no longer in the square and we were unable to really see much. We did drive around it a few times though.

I had an obsession with this wall… it had hundreds of different shades of brick on it and it was just beautiful. Yes I’m incredibly weird but I love it!

There was a quiet protest going on in this square. The man holding the sign smiled every time I tried to take his picture.

The brick buildings are just beautiful!

Without a zoom or anything, I was able to get this close to the butterfly. It never flew away!

Who can resist a starbucks housed in a former church? (this was taken as we were turning, not the best shot!)

I did take tons of pictures of my little cousin but I am still editing them! Too many cute ones to decide! Those will be up soon.
